Filmmaker – Producer – Project Manager

Carlo Coppola is a filmmaker and experienced art producer currently working with Manifesta, the European Nomadic Biennial.

His practice as a filmmaker explores the presence of the political in the private, observing power structures in daily life and analysing the consequences of migration within the human. While tip-toeing on the thin line between fiction and fact, Coppola's narratives are always projected into the possibilities of the future.

As as senior producer and project manager he is responsible for the development and production of newly commissioned works of internationally renowned artists as well as the implementation of exhibition venues. In his profession he closely collaborates with city stakeholders including municipalities, universities and city museums as well as non-institutional partners.
